Place
a chair in the centre of the room. One child is “it” and must sit on the chair, blindfolded. The rest sit in a circle a reasonable distance from the chair. The blindfolded child points to one of the children and says the name of an animal, e.g. Chimpanzee. The selected child
(nearest to where pointed to) must now make the sound of the animal. The bindfolded child must listen try to identify who it is by their animal noises. If they guess correctly they change places. If not they stay “it” for three goes and then change.
Continue until everyone has had a go at being "it" or they have had enough.

Place a chair in the centre of the room and a very noisy set of keys (or anything similar, e.g. baby rattle) under the chair. One child is “it” and must sit on the chair, blindfolded. The rest sit in a circle a reasonable distance from the chair. The Leader points to one of the children and says “Get my keys”. The selected child must now go and get the keys and hand them to the leader. The bindfolded child must listen carefully and point in the direction they think they hear a sound. If they point correctly they win and change places with the caught child. If not they have to stay in the middle (after three goes, they should change anyway). The children must keep quiet to avoid distracting the blindfolded child. The blindfolded child can’t just point every-which-way at random!
